Daniel Hunt is cycling through Europe to raise money for The Oxford Health Charity

This summer, Daniel wants to raise £ 5,000 for The Oxford Health Charity to say thanks to the people and institutions that took care of his grandfather in the last moments of his life. We are glad to provide him with online GPS tracking of his journey.

“My name is Daniel Hunt.

Last year on the 17thDecember 2016, my Grandad, Allen Hunt, passed away peacefully after a year battling with cancer and other illnesses. He passed away on his wife's and my Nan's birthday.

He lost both his parents in his 20s & only had himself to advise & guide through life. He built aloving home for my Nan & their three children; my Dad & two Aunties…”

This is a letter from Daniel which he posted on his fundraising page. Read it all, it is a heartbreaking read that shows the love Daniel feels for his late granddad.

Cycling to raise money for charity

Daniel feels gratitude to health care institutions that took care of his grandfather and he decided to do a fundraising cycle ride around Europe for them. He plans to visit 23 European countries, clocking some 4,500 Miles (7,240 Km) in the process. And his fundraising goal? £ 5,000!
