Map view is an important thing (and a standard feature) in every GPS vehicle monitoring platform. We tried to improve it and make it a powerful tool that really brings added value to your work.

In Satelon you have a map view embedded into the log book section of the platform. The map is neatly connected to the log book records and enables you to work faster and process information with higher accuracy.

How does it work? Just select a trip in the log book. You will see its every turn highlighted on a map. You can even select more trips at once, the map will highlight all of them.

Do you see there anything suspicious on the map? Did one of the vehicles take a detour, an unexpected break or did it stop on a weird place? Just click on the very spot on the map and you will instantly see a relevant log book record, including vehicle and driver identification.

Log book calendar. A game changing feature

In Satelon, the calendar is as intelligent as the map. Our calendar view enables you to analyze every trip in the log book not only in spatial (as in the map) but also in temporal dimension.

Select a stretch of time (an hour, a day, a week) and you are presented with every log book event that happened in the selected period. You can view the data for one selected vehicle or for the whole fleet at once.

Detailed information and extended data export possibilities

The Satelon log book could seem to be simple. That was definitely your goal – to make Satelon the most easy-to-use GPS vehicle monitoring platform on the market. But there is no feature missing when you need it.

The log book has all the standard features you are used to: it stores data on mileage, stop times, refueling, fuel consumption or speed. It also includes driver and trip identification for every vehicle.

Sometimes you need the log book data for further analysis. Or you may need to stream the log book data directly into another software application.

This is no problem for Satelon. It can export all the records in most used file formats such as Excel spreadsheets or PDF documents. We can also help you with connecting it to third party apps with an API.
